成县位于甘肃省东南部，属秦岭南麓徽成盆地、长江上游嘉陵江水系。幅员面积1780平方公里，辖17镇、13个居委会、245个村。总人口26.1万人，其中城镇人口8.6万人。耕地统计面积41.6万亩，林地61.5万亩，可利用草地13.96万亩，森林覆盖率48.5%。为南北过渡性暖温带半湿润气候区，年均气温11.9℃，平均降水量650毫米，平均无霜期210天。境内海拔750—2377米，有“一江三河”，年径流量12.7亿立方米，水能开发量达4.47万千瓦/时。境内生物资源丰富，已知植物种类达1958种，动物种类达4类54种，是国家生态环境建设重点县和全省重要农业生产基地。境内矿产资源富集，已探明矿种达17种，金属矿藏主要有铅锌、黄金、铁矿等，非金属矿藏有大理石、石灰石等。其中，铅锌地质储量约1100万金属吨，属地方开发的约150万金属吨，铅锌品位高、储藏浅、开采条件好，为全国第二大铅锌矿带,是我省有色金属生产基地之一。
成县历史悠久，文化旅游资源丰富，是省内外有影响的文化之乡。境内人文资源深厚，自然景观秀丽。汉西狭颂、唐杜甫草堂遗迹、宋吴挺碑等历史文化资源和鸡峰山国家级森林公园、裴公湖等自然资源融为一体，与麦积山、九寨沟,西安、汉中连成几条旅游热线。
成县地理位置优越，基础设施完善。境内有干线公路113公里、县乡公路58条454公里，连接陕、甘、川三省的江武二级公路横贯东西。枢纽全区的碧口至成县220千伏输变电工程已建成运行，调控甘肃东南部电力供应的330千伏变电所正在建设之中，兰成渝输油管道及供应周边三省10多个县石油产品的成县石油分输站已建成使用，无线通信网络基本覆盖全县。城区自来水普及率达到95%，道路铺装率达到91%。县内有高等专科学校1所，中等专业学校2所，县乡教育、文化、医疗卫生电视、电话网络基本健全，城乡基础设施基本适应加快发展的需要。。
成县是全市率先发展的重点县。是全市能源、交通、科教、信息中心。城区自来水普及率达到95%，道路铺装率达到91%，城市化程度达到33%。自上世纪80年代后期以来，相继被国家列为长江上游水土保持重点县和长江上游防护林工程建设县、生态环境建设示范县、种子工程试验基地县、乡镇企业东西合作示范区、省列商品粮基地县、蚕丝生产基地县，相继被列为小城镇改革试点县。先后荣获全国基础教育先进县、生态环境建设示范县、造林绿化先进县、节煤节柴先进县、科技工作先进县、水利水保先进县、长治“十百千”工程样板县、“爱心献功臣”行动先进县、全国核桃之乡及全省精神文明建设先进县、文化先进县、文化下乡先进县、“普九”及“普实”达标县、省级卫生县城、省级双拥模范县等一系列称号，近年来取得国家、省、市各类荣誉30多项。自2001年起，被市委、市政府确定为申报撤县建市的重点县，并于2003年经省政府同意后，上报国家民政部待批。

成县简介
成县，位于中国西部甘肃东南，幅员面积1780平方公里，辖12镇5乡245村13个居委会，居住有汉、回、满、蒙、藏等13个民族，26.1万人（其中城镇人口8.6万人），县域有耕地41.6万亩，林地129万亩，森林覆盖率达47.9%；属南北过渡性暖温带半湿润气候区，年均气温11.9℃、降水量650毫米、无霜期210天；境内海拔在750米到2377米之间，有犀牛江、东河、南河、洛河等“一江三河”丰厚的水资源。
成县自然资料丰富，是国家生态环境建设示范县和全省重要的商品粮生产基地。县内已知植物种类达1958种，动作种类54种。粮食作物主要为冬小麦、玉米、大豆、土豆、荞麦等，经济作物以冬油菜、大蒜和多种四季蔬菜为主，经济林果主要有核桃、柿子、板粟、樱桃等，还有天麻、茯苓、杜仲等名贵药材及千余种药用植物；畜牧业以猪、鸡、牛、羊为主，另有梅花鹿、豹、熊、画眉、红腹锦鸡等十余种珍稀动物。2006年全县GDP24.71亿元，粮食总产13.2万吨，财政收入4.43亿元，农民人均纯收入2134元。
成县矿产资源富集。境内初步探明的金属矿藏有铅、在锌、黄金、铁、锰等17种，尤以铅锌储量较大，属全国第二大铅锌矿带，其地质储量约1100万金属吨，目前已初步建成了以铅锌矿为为主导，建筑建材、酒类酿造、农副产品加工、能源化工等五大工业体系。
成县历史悠久，文化厚重。这里先秦设道，东汉置郡，唐、宋、元设州，治同谷县，明初降州为县，始称成县，相沿至今。县域生态环境良好，自然景观奇特，文化胜迹众多，风光秀丽妩媚。有国家级重点保护文物《西狭颂》摩岩石刻，诗圣杜甫流寓同谷时纪念地“杜少陵祠”、南宋抗金名将吴挺陵园，以及国家级森林公园鸡峰山，唐韵遗风裴湖莲沼等人文景观，是形成与麦积山、九寨沟、西安、汉中等多条黄金旅游链上的重要“驿站”。

The Biref Introduction On Cheng Xian
ChengXian Lies in the Southeast of GanSu province,Western china.Its area is 1780 square kilometers.It has jurisdiction over 12 towns,5districts,245 villages and 13 residents committees.Ther live 13 natonalities,including Han,Hui,manchu Mongol,Tibetan,etc.The population is 261,000[containing 86000 citizens].There are 416,000 mu of cultivated land,and 1290000 mu forest land.The percentage of forest covergeis 47.9%.It belongs to the south-north transitional half-humid climite zone .The yearly average temperture is 11.9℃ ,and its rainfall is 650 mm. There are 210 days in the frost-free period during a year.The elevation is between 750 and 2373 meters in the area.There are Rhinoceros river,East river,South river and Luo river.Therefore,the water resource is plentiful.
The natural resource of Cheng Xian is multifarious.It is the demonstration county of national ecological construction and important marketable grain base of Gansu province.There are 1958 kinds of plants known,and 54 kinds of animals .The main grain crops are winter wheat,soybean,potato,buckwheat,etc.The main cash crops are winter rape,garlic and various vegetables growing all the year round.The economic forests and fruits are mainly walnut,persimmon, Chinese chostnut,cherry, etc.Besides,there are valuable medicinal materials, such as:Tianma,Fuling,Duzhong,etc,and thousands kinds of herbs.The main livestock products are pigs,chicken,cow,sheep,etc.Whats more,there are more than ten kinds of rare animals like Sika deer,leopard,bear,thrush,golden,pheasant,with red abdomen,etc.The GDP of the county is 2471,000,000 yuan. The annual grain yield is 132000 yuan,and the per capita farmers income is 2134 yuan.
The mineral resource in Cheng Xian is abundant.There are 17 kinds of verified metal mine such as lead,zinc,gold,iron, manganese,etc.Eespecially lead and zinc,which belong to the second national mineral area of lead and zinc.Their reserves are about 11,000,000 metal ton.At present,five industrial systems have been preiminarily set up[lead and zinc mine to be the leading force,building and building materials,wine-making industry,agricultural and sideline products proceessing ,and energy industry].
Cheng Xian has a long history and abundant culture. It was governed at the beginning of Qin Dynasty as a Dao,in Han dynasty as a prefecture,and in Tang,Song,Yuan, it had been a state,governing Tong Gu Countfy.At the beginning of Ming dynasty,it was degraded to be a county,and began to be called"Cheng Xing",which has been used as the name of the county until now.The ecological environment is beautiful,and natural scenery is unique.The places of interest are plentiful and attactive, there is one of the major historical and cultural sites under state protection:the stone inscription on the cliff"Ode to Western Gorge", the memorial temple for commemorating the famous poet Du Fu[who lived in Tang dynasty] "the Du Shaolings memorial temple",the tomb of Wu Ting who was a famous general fighting against Jin nationality in southern Song dynasty,and the national forest park"Ji Feng Mountain".Therefore,Chengxian is an important"relay station"connecting many popular tour areas such as Mai Ji Mountain, Jiu Zhai Ravine,Xian and Hanzhong.
Chgng Xian has the great geographical advantage. The provincial road Jiang Wu gets across the east and west of the province,and links the neighhouring counties with high-level asphalt roads.Except 220 key transmission line which is normally functioning to serve the whole city,the 330 transformer substation regulating the power supply in the southeast of Gansu province is under construction. The petroleum pipeline from Lanzhou to Chengdu and a brunches of petroleum distributing station supplying more than 10 neighbouring towns and cities has been built up and put into operation.The industry of communication is developing rapidly.The China Telecom,China Unicom,and China Mobile.complement each other and cover the whole county.The educational,cultural,and medical net works are basically sound.Therefore,it has a better room for developing in the city of Long Nan.
Cheng Xian is the key county of developing in advance in Long Nan.
